SKM Chief Golay Visits Rangang Yangang Constituency |Sikkim|Elections 2019|
As the election season warmed up in the state of Sikkim , major opposition party and it's leader PS Golay started his campaign in an intense manner. PS Golay was in Rangang Yangang Constituency of South District where he met workers and supporters . This constituency happened to be the home constituency of ruling leader and Chief Minister Pawan Chamling which seems to be vital in terms of political battle. PS Golay was visiting this constituency after three years where he witnessed enormous excitement from the party workers. He also met workers from other political parties where they expressed confidence on SKM for bringing 'Change' in Sikkim and will extend their support in future.
In his address PS Golay expressed :
1) Party is gaining massive support from South and West District which is comparatively much higher than what we gain in 2014 elections. This time these districts will give absolute majority to form new government under SKM party in 2019 elections. No fake assurances and empty promises of ruling party will barred to form SKM government in an upcoming elections , he stated.
2) We will focus more on economic stability of downtrodden people. Maximum numbers of households in Sikkim falls under Below poverty line because people don't have source of earnings and due to lack of proper vision of SDF party for upliftment of BPL catagory. Our government shall focus on strengthening economy of below poverty lines where we will primely focus on atleast of having 'ten thousand and above' monthly earnings of family who falls under this catagory.
3) He welcome all local contractors willing to support SKM party and if anyone gets threats while supporting our party in terms of getting prohibition of getting their work-bills than SKM will fight for their rights.
4) Recently Ad-hoc and temporary invited Chief Minister in order to felicitate him but unfortunately Chief Minister didn't turned up dishonouring the invitations. This is not only about disrespecting Ad-hoc teachers but Chief Minister avoided them keeping away to address their issues. Ad-hoc Teachers are working in very less salary as compared to other states but their problems were never addressed by ruling front despite they were promised to regularised in the year 2013 but after election they were deprived citing 'non fulfillment of criteria', which is big bitray to all Ad-hoc workers.
5) We are now in top to lead movement 'Change' in Sikkim but despite the fact that some so called opposition are trying to pull our legs but what we want is support from them. We want them to push us from back and to take to our aim of overturning monopoly establishment of SDF government.
6) He also addressed basic issues of Rangang Yangang Constituency where he alleged that this constituency being a birthplace of current Chief Minister lacks far behind with basic developments and observed that this constituency holds maximum number of people living under extreme poverty. He attacks ruling front for slow work progress of Sikkim University Campus which is under construction in Yangang. He also meet group of land donors of Sikkim University, they placed their grievances regarding ununiform and unsatisfactory land compensation which was not paid according of Land Acquisition Act 2013. PS Golay assures to give necessary legal support to land donors victims and blames ruling front for failure of amicable land settlement of Sikkim University.
