Birkha Bahadur Muringla is one of the eminent writers in Limboo literature.He will receive the Padma Shri in 2017 for his contribution to Limboo language and literature.
Really, no words would be enough to praise such a wonderful person, literary figure,writer, poet ,music maestro like Shri B.B Muringla Subba, a recipient of Bhanu Puruskar, and it is indeed a matter of great proud for all of us that Shri B.B Muringla Subba will be conferred the 'Padmashree Award 'by the President of India, at one special ceremonial function, tomorrow at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi
