The statue of Late N.K Gurung who lost his life in the pre poll violence of 2014

Kushang Limboo:Geyzing, November 2: The statue of Late N.K Gurung who lost his life in the pre poll violence of 2014 was unveiled by chief minister Pawan Chamling on Friday at Sreebadam in presence of mother and relatives of Late N.K Gurung. The statue constructed by the SDF party just beside the road near Sreebadam Senior Secondary School was unveiled after a brief prayer session. Late N.K Gurung was an active party worker of the SDF party.


Chief minister paying tribute to Late N.K Gurung offered wreath to the statue.


In his brief address chief minister said that Late N.K Gurung was one of dedicated party worker and his contributions for the SDF party would never be forgotten. He claimed that Late Gurung was killed by the

"I feel sad that we could not save Late Gurung. It was a great loss for the SDF party", he said.

Adding that he would take care of family of Late N.K Gurung chief minister said, "It is my responsibiity  to look after the family of Late N.K Gurung. I would meet all the educational finances of Late Gurung's daughter and I would not make her feel the loss of her father", he said.
