Capital Gangtok has always been a prime tourist attraction in the state and the beautification of the capital city is a frequent endeavour in different ways worth one of the closest ones being the Red Panda Winter Carnival. But recently the wall below BSNL near MG Marg looks in a critical condition.
MG Marg being a major tourist spot in the state, the critical condition of the wall have been under the eyes of all the tourists visiting the area. This is a frequent you traversed path by the pedestrians and the critical condition of the wall only increases the risks of accidents day by day. With the start of seepage of rainwater from the same wall during the rainy season increases the risks.
Gangtok and Sikkim has grabbed many awards regarding Cleanliness and Swachhta but the status quo offered by these awards should also be maintained by the authorities.
