Sikkim Police mourns the demise of one of it's efficient officers.
The condolence messages are flooding which apparently points out that how much he was loved and respected.
People took social media to express their grief and anguish on the death of Karma Denzongpa.
He passed away on March 21 after a vehicle he was driving head collided with a truck at Sevoke road near Siliguri.
Reportedly his wife and son are said to be critically injured.
" The news has come as a great shock. He was one of the most hardworking officers. He was loved by people for his efficient work" said a senior police officer over phone.
He was inducted in Sikkim police as a Sub Inspector in 1993.
" He was respected and loved by the junior staffs. He has left us too soon" said a police constable who worked with him while posted as SHO in Sadar Police station in Gangtok.
A resident at Ranipool said, " How can we forget the facelift of police station in Ranipool. He was an officer who withdrew his provident fund to help others"
