Sevoke –Rangpo railway project is halted from last two days after the approach road going to the project site is closed

Again the Sevoke –Rangpo railway project is halted from last two days after the approach road going to the project site is closed by one of the land owners blaming that the railway has not yet compensate for his land. The project is totally closed and local residents are also facing problems. Today IRRCON who is the main construction company to complete this historical project has complained to Rangpo police station regarding the matter. The railway sources informed that the compensation money from railway is already transferred to state government and state is also ready to provide compensation amount to the land owners but family dispute is a major problems to provide compensation .when the dispute clear by the court the amount shall be immediate transfer according to the decision of the court.  By showing the problems it is appealed to solve the problem.
