Hydel projects everywhere, but power supply is irratic now a days. The state government's lofty claim of generating enough power to sell to other state for earning revenue is nothing but misguiding propaganda. When it cannot even meet the regular demand of consumers in Sikkim, who pay exorbitant power usage rent, how is it going to supply power to the neighbouring states. 

These days irratic supply is the order of the day and some places in the State face black put for days together. Number of consumers has increased manifold which is known to the concerned department but no action to augment the existing transformers has been initiated. 

Where have all the budgets under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen VidyutikaranYojana/ Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana gone? How can the State even think of making Sikkim an economically vibrant State without adequate power supply for the industries? Please stop fooling people n think seriously about meeting the local demand so that the high power usage rent being paid by the consumers is justified.
