70th Independence Day Football Knockout Tournament Rangpo today completes 6th day. Two match was played today at Rangpo Goli ground.1st match was played between Brotherhood Ranipool Vs Border IX Rangpo. The whole match was seen good fight both teams. Brotherhood Ranipool won the match by 4-2 and entered in the next round of the match. The trophy was awarded to the man of the match by the hand of chief guest of this match Sikkim Bihari Jargan Manch President Shri Shwaminath Prasad along with Rangpo traffic PI Mr. Santosh Baniya, Rangpo Fire PI, Rangpo PHC Dr. Rojas Gurung, PS Rangpo SI Pradeep Chhetri, BO Rangpo Mr. OM Gurung, Ex Block Officer Shri C B Gurung, senior citizen and local public.
2nd match was played between Biswadeep Club Rangpo vs. G J sporting club. Till full time both are the team was zero goal. Till the end of the match both the team has none score hence decided to take tiebreaker for decision where Biswadeep Club won the match. Alkem Kumrek Vice President . Mr. R Chakilam along with HR head Mr. Ramakant Rai was present as the chief guest of this match. Tomorrow too two match shall play in this ground .1st match shall play between Renzong FC Gangtok Vs. New Boys Club Kalimpong while 2nd match shall play between Royal FC Salugara Vs Sikkim Police. IDCC president Mr. Milan Silwal leading today’s event.
